Our Mission

“ To equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ until all of us come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to maturity, to the measure of the full stature of Christ.” Ephesians 4:12-13

Our mission is to embrace the lost and transform the found though the living and active power of the Holy Spirit. By sharing the Truth, which is The Gospel of Jesus Christ, we have the opportunity to embrace those who have not heard of his love or accepted him as their Savior. When tempered by love, The Truth the scripture teaches becomes real, active and Soul Saving.

For those who have accepted Christ we endeavor to transform their relationship into a more intimate one through Bible Studies, Church School, Prayer Meetings, Teaching Sermons, Revivals and Fellowship. This act of renewing our minds transforms us into more mature Christians who continue to grow together in faith to become more like Christ in every way.

Our Vision

We are people called by God in covenant responsibility and accountability to God and one another for the purposes of God. To that end, our covenant commitment encompasses the reality that our communal spiritual development is as important as our personal spiritual development.

Each member of Mt. Zion covenants to:

* Develop and maintain an intimate relationship with God
* Allow the Holy Spirit to empower us
* Live in love and Christian fellowship as a community of God’s people striving in unity to be like Christ.

 

Together we are striving to provide each individual with biblical instruction that equips the saints for the work of ministry while connecting them with our love and fellowship in a true Christian community.
