Food Bank: Mt. Zion purchases food from the Auburn Food Bank center to distribute to needy families in the community. Food Bank is distributed on the third Saturday of each month. Any needy family in the community may receive food bank distribution.

Food Service: This ministry is responsible for coordinating all food service for church activities. This includes preparing and serving meals for bereaved families as well as special events.

Koinonia Ministry: This ministry is part of a 9th District ministry designed to meet the needs of young adults (ages 18-45). The purpose is to provide support for this age group, promote active engagemetnt in the church and to encourage others in this age group to become members of the church and this ministry

Music Ministry: There are choirs for members of all ages and gender within the music ministy of Mt. Zion.


Mass Choir: This choir provides music for the first, second and fifth Sundays of each month. Rehearsals are each Saturday.

Youth/Young Adult Choir: This choir provides music for the fourth Sunday of each month. Members are yourh (ages 12 and above) and young adult.

Newsletter Ministry: This ministry published a monthly newsletter, Mt. Zion A.M.E.Newsletter, that is distributed to all members. Articles include messages from the Pastor, current news in the community, articles of special services and activites during the past month and announcements of upcoming events. This ministry is a collective effort of the congregation.

Praise Dance: This ministry offers praise through dance. Membership is open to members of all ages and gender who have a talent for dance and a desire to dedicate that talent to God by praising him with dance.

Sons of Allen: This ministry functions as outlined in the Discipline of the AME Church. The Sons of Allen is composed of three (3) or more persons, formed for the purpose of encouraging men to become invlocle in helphing other men find Christ in their lives.
The local Sons of Allen meets monthly.

Technology Ministry: This ministry takes charge of the Mt. Zion website as well as the audio, video and pictoral data that is distributed on it. This ministry makes sure that each Sunday service and special event is captured.
