Automated Messaging Service
In an effort to keep the entire Church Family informed of activies, meetings and changes we will be using a automated message service to deliver messages to the phone number (home or cell) of your choice. Please make sure we have the number you want to receive messages on in our files AND let us know if you DO NOT want your number in the services database. |
Choir Rehearsal
Combined Choir rehearsal will be held every Saturday @ 12p.m. EST. All choir members are asked to attend. |
Wednesday Bible Study:
Bible Study is each Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. CST. Come out and join us! The sanctuary will be open each Wednesday at 5:00 pm prior to Bible Study. Please feel free to use this time for silent prayer at the Altar or for meditation time before we begin our study. Come and enjoy the beauty of the church and the Presence of God!
Join us on Wednesday, February 1 as we begin our new Bible Study, "Secrets of a Prayer Warrior". Using Derek Prince's book by the same name, learn life-changing tools for having a powerful and effective prayer life. Bible Study begins promptly at 5:30 CST.

Food Bank and Clothing Closet
Food Bank and the Clothing Closet will both be open on Saturday, January 21 from 7:30 am until noon. The WMS is collecting clothing and shoes to share with families in need. Please bring your clean, gently used clothing and donate it to this worthy cause. All donations should be taken to the Historic Sanctuary so it can be sorted. |

Allen Memorial AME Church will be celebrating Friends and Family Day on Sunday, January 22 at 1:30 Cst. Let us prepare to go and celebrate with them after our morning worship service next week.

172nd Church Anniversary Celebration
Our 172nd Church Anniversary Celebration will be held on Sunday, March 18 at 2:30 CST. Our speaker will be Bishop James L. Davis, Servant Bishop of the 9th Episcopal District. Each member is asked to pay $172.00 over and above their tithes in honor of this great milestone of the church. Start today making payments toward that effort. You will be glad you did! |
Daniel Payne Legacy Village
The Daniel Payne Legacy Village Project is our opportunity to make a lasting impact on our District and others throughout the AME Church. You may contribute to the Project financially through monetary pledges or stocks and bonds. All contributions are tax-deductable and no pledge is too small!
